Returns and exchanges
We hope you enjoy your Arela purchase. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange it for another item or return it for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
Apothecary items, laundry detergents and gift cards can not be returned unless there is a noticeable flaw in the product.
If you wish to return your purchase, please read the following carefully:
To return items, you must contact us firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days after receiving your order. If you do not contact us within 14 days after receiving your order, we reserve the right not to accept returned items. If you have chosen pick up from our store, you should notify us about possible return within 14 days after you have received the email notice of your pick up being ready to be collected.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and have all tags and labels intact. Please do not remove hangtags or other information from the product. Fragrances and other apothecary items can not be returned, unless there is a noticeable flaw in the product. Customers name, address and telephone number must be attached. We only provide a refund or exchange the product, if the product is unused and in its original condition.

Gift cards, apothecary items, laundry detergents and fragrances.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. For exchanges, send us an email within 14 days of purchase to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To return your product, you should ship your product within 14 days of return notice to:
Return and exchange shipping with orders over 100€ are free. In orders with total amount under 100€ without shipping you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
You can also return or exchange your product in person in our store in Helsinki to avoid shipping charges.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
RefundsOnce your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
GiftsIf the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
